When he was in 5th grade, Tim's family joined Newton Bible Church. After spending time in Kansas City during his college years, Tim returned to NBC in 2018 and has enjoyed being part of this church family since. Tim has Bachelor and Master's degrees from Calvary University in Biblical Studies, with an emphasis in Biblical Languages. He currently works for Robinson Electric as an electrician.
Tim is married to Carissa and in 2025 Titus joined their family. The Huxmans enjoy serving and living life with their church family, Wichita dates, time with extended family, board games, long walks, and traveling.
