Steve Bastow was born and raised in Newton. He met Jessica his wife during missions training. They ministered in Africa for a number of years in village outreach as well as administrative work for their mission. Steve is secretary on the elder board, and elder representative to the Newton Bible Christian School. He is co-director for the Newton Release Time Weekday Bible school program, and teaches a men’s Bible study. Steve and Jessica are members of Source of Light International and serve in the Newton branch. They have 8 lively grandchildren. Gardening is a great interest to them.
